Shrikant Moghe (6 November - 6 March ) was an Indian film and theatre actor who has worked in several Hindi and Marathi films. He is better known as Bhaurao Deshmukh in Navri Mile Navryala () and Dadasaheb Korde in Gammat Jammat ().
Career
[edit]Moghe was famous for his roles in Marathi films like Madhuchandra, Sinhaasan, Gammat Jammat, Umbaratha and Vasudev Balwant Phadke; and Marathi stage plays Varyavarchi Varaat, Tuze Aahe Tujapashi and Lekure Udand Jali.
Personal life
[edit]Shrikant Moghe grew up in Kirloskarwadi, near Sangli, in Maharashtra, India.[1] Shrikant Moghe's son Shantanu Moghe is also an actor, who played Shivaji I in Zee Marathi serial Swarajyarakshak Sambhaji[2] and father in law of actress Priya Marathe.[3] The late Poet-lyricist Sudhir Moghe () was his younger brother.[4]

Aai Kuthe Kay Karte! (transl.What Does a Mother Ever Do!) is an Indian Marathi-languagedrama series airing on Star Pravah.[3] It is based on the Bengali series Sreemoyee.[4] The show premiered on 23 December and ended on 30 November It starred Madhurani Gokhale-Prabhulkar in the title role of Arundhati.[5] The show is produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions.[6]
Plot
[edit]A middle-aged housewife, Arundhati, has dedicated her life to her husband and children. Her husband Anirudh has an affair with his colleague, Sanjana. Arundhati's elder son, Abhishek marries Ankita while her younger son, Yash falls in love with Sanjana's niece, Gauri.
Arundhati's friend, Devika tells her that her family takes her for granted. The family plans a remarriage of Arundhati and Anirudh, to mark their 25th anniversary. Sanjana tries to marry Anirudh on his wedding day with Arundhati but in vain. In anger, she comes to tell Arundhati the truth about her and Anirudh's affair on their wedding day. However, Anirudh stops her and expresses his love for her in his bedroom and Arundhati sees. Arundhati breaks down and decides to retaliate against Anirudh for his betrayal.
