                          Hazrat Shaikh Sayid Abdul Qadir Jilani (RA)

The founder of Qadiri order was Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (RA) {b.470 AH, d.561 AH). He was the contemporary of Hazrat Imam Ghazzali (RA). Among his spiritual guides were Shaikh Abul Khair Hamad bin Hakam Dabosi (RA) and Shaikh Mubarak bin Ali Abu Said Makhromi Qazi (RA). The exoteric and esoteric achievements of Hazrat Ghous-ul-Azam are beyond limit. Among his disciples are also included those honoured spiriual guides who are themselves considered the leaders of the circles of tariqat. Among them are included Shaikh Shahab-ud-Din Suhrawardy (RA) and Shaikh Akbar Mohi-ud-Din Ibni Arabi (RA). In his life, lakhs of people got acquainted with the sweetness of faith, Islamic life and etiquette after getting benefitted by his Qadrya order founded by him. After him his sincere ‘khalifas”  and the honoured followers of the order continued to invite people to Allah and renewal of  faith in all Islamic countries, whose number cannot be described by anyone other than Allah. It became the cause of acceptance of Islam by lakhs of non-Muslims and that of the perfection of  faith of lakhs of people in Hazarmout, India, Java, Smatra, African continent (through traders and travelling saints).

AWLIYA ALLAH and Proof of Their Status from the Quran and Sunnah :)

It is in Quran - "Behold the friends of Allah -SWT! On them shall come no fear, nor shall they grieve. These are they, who have believed in Allah-SWT and are mindful of (close to) Him and (have consequently abstained from everything evil). There are certain big categories of Awliya Allah who are known as al-Aqtaab and al-Abdaal. The biggest among them is known as Ghouse.​

Muslims consider Imam Abu Hanifa (r) as Imam-e-Azam. Similarly among Sufi Shaikhs, Hazrat Shaikh Abdul Qaader Jeelani (r) is known as Ghousul Azam. ​

Some Muslims do not know or understand about the above categorization of Awliya Allah. They are not aware of special beneficence of Allah (SWT) upon them. Some Muslim sects, particularly Salafis and their like minded groups, deny the above status of Awliya Allah and make fun of these titles. What can we say about these people except that they would like to remain ignorant from Quran and Sunnah. They
